Since opening its doors over twelve years ago, Sterling has built a client base of over 180 various entities. Our clients include state and municipal government, park districts, professional organizations, banks, ISPs, dotcoms, retail businesses, manufacturing concerns, and all manner of commercial undertakings. Our smallest client is a server/5-user network; our largest has over 350 users spread among multiple locations. Of significant note:

	During its lifetime, Sterling has never lost a client because of dissatisfaction with our performance or service. Over 30% of our clients have come to us through referrals from other clients. About one third of our clients came to us -- and stayed – because they had been discontent with their previous consultants

When Sterling's owners wrote their initial business plan, they cited the overall strengths of their probable competitors as having established clientele, affiliations with national companies, and deployable financial resources. Singularly, though, what the competitors lacked were reputations for well done or "bullet proof" work; innovation in design and product; and the ability to be acutely responsive to the individual needs of their customers. These companies specialized in quick, easily sold and installed solutions whose limitations became readily apparent quite quickly; the volume nature of their businesses usually resulted in lackadaisical response to customers in crisis.

These are compelling reasons for taking business elsewhere. Our vigorous young company opportunistically addressed them.
